I just have to play on the lowest settings possible and I can't play for too long out of fear of overheating, but it can run. Had a Macbook Pro a few years before that and I remember the Sims 2 running just fine then.

I have the 13 inch Macbook Air and I have NEVER played the Sims on my Macbook before or my other laptop. I need to understand how this Origin thing works because I know that it says you need that to play The Sims. The point is that my Macbook does not have a disk drive to put the disk in.
